Yes Christmas is just around the corner. And it's time to make those Christmas cards.

These are New Stamps for Nov. 2011.

Just think of all those wonderful cards you could make with this stamp set. The possibly are endless. I chose to make a simple card. Using this stamp set. Blue Bazzil Cs, White Cs, Trim to fit. I used my Martha Stewart Scalloped Punch on the bottom of the White Cs, Stamp the Star 3 times in 3 different colors, Then added some stickles in the middle of the star and then added a string line for each of the stars. And to finish the card I added the saying and used my Spellbinder dies. Blue ink Palette ink. Warm Wishes is selling for $16.40 plus shipping and tax.

Pain and Pride is such a cute stamp set. You can use them for your Christmas cards. Or for someone who Loves "SNOW" or even a Get Well card. Many wonderful uses for this stamp set. It's only $5.40 plus shipping and tax.

I Love this card I made from using the stamp set from above. My card is a 5x5 size, Real Red Cs, Echo Park DP. White Cs, Black Cs, Bling, Sheer Ribbon, Copic Markers. I use my scalloped square Spellbinder die. and poked holes around the square for an extra touch. I just love this little guy. I can see making a lot of Christmas cards, and SNOW card this winter. Hopefully I don't have to make any Get Well cards.....

Let the good times roll........

Life is filled with good times. This card was made for my mother in law....Who loves life~

She shares with us and shows us the good times of life. Mom ( as I call her) is a awesome women. She is 83, gets up every morning and has her breakfast, while watching the wildlife outside her kitchen windows and door. She still gardens, and has a ton of indoor plants. (She has a better Green thumb that I do.) And in the summer she grows ton's of veggies. Mom still drives, and enjoys the outdoors and much as we do.

I look at her life and think of all the things that her and dh did before he died. ( camping, fishing, with her family, when time allowed them too)

And think about the good times in life.

That's why I chose this stamp set to use for her new card. Which will sit on her mantle until she get's a new one from me. She saves all of my cards. (Which means a lot to me!!)

Missing in Action

Yes I've been missing in action. Dh has been on vacation and we have been doing a stay at home vacation. Doing things around the house. Spend a couple of days with my mother in law. And on the way home from her house.

We were involved in a Hit and run accident. The guy's truck hit our trailer and truck. He lost his left front tire and axle. speeding on the down the road leaving sparks flying. The police from his truck in a ditch 4 miles down the road. How he got that far I'll never know.

No one was hurt in our truck. But our small trailer is totaled! Dh had many many tools and other things in the trailer. My truck has many dents and a couple of small holes in the tail gate.

We are very thankful that no one was hurt. I think if we didn't have the trailer behind my truck it would have been a little different. Having it. Saved us! Thanks God for taking care of us!! You ROCK!!!!

Christmas is around the Corner

Yes, Christmas is just around the corner. I chose to make this sweet adorable Christmas card using one of our new {IPPITY} Stamp. "Gingham Christmas"
Red, Blue and White. The paper is from S.E.I. 12x12 Paper pack. That I found on Clearance for $4.00. ($19.99) A HUGH Savings for me. Card base is Ivory Cardstock. I used Memento Tux ink for the music sheet stamp and did the background with it. Next I torn the blue DP, Then took the Real Red Ribbon and added it to the Red Gingham DP. Attached those pieces together. I stamped and cut out the tree's and placed them on the Blue DP hill. Added the saying. and a Snowflake button & Brad to finish the card.

All things are Possible New Stamp set 2011

Here is one of our Brand New Stamp set's for the month of September 2011. It's called "All things are possible" It's sells for $5.40 plus shipping and tax. I've created this cute adorable Basket. With Ribbon and Pink Paper. I think it turned out really well. I worked on come cards and items for a long time yesterday afternoon into the evening. This basket will be a gift to my Aunt who lost her daughter to Breast Cancer this past Jan 2011. I have somethings to put inside that are personal.

And I couldn't think of anything better than making this adorable Basket for her. I'm really happy to see that IPPITY came out with a Ribbon stamp set. It can be used for other reasons other than Breast Cancer.
This is the top view of the basket. I colored the Butterfly using the same colors that are in the paper.

It's all Krafty

It's all Krafty. A little play on words. I made 3 cards using Kraft Cardstock from PTI. My first card is really very simple to create. Ya just need a little bit of ink and Kraft cs, And you'll have a card.
Well the stamp set I used is called "Totally Happy" by {Ippity} stamps. I sponged the edges with soft suede ink. and used one Copic Marker Putty. I love the way it looks on Kraft paper. Kinda like wood. So you see just how easy it is to create a simple card.
My next card I cased from a magazine. Simple and cute. The only thing different from my card and cased one is. the twine and bird plus saying. Ok a little different. The Birds are from {Ippity} Called "Fall for you" which is a cool stamp set. The Twine is from The Twinery. Charcoal is the color I used. I colored with Copic Markers and cut each bird out. and attached the birds on the twine and cs, with pop dots.
Last but not least. Is my School days card.
Using Kraft cardstock from PTI, Some DP from SU. (sorry I can't remember the name of it.) and my spellbinder dies. I created this cute card. The apples were created using Fruit Border die. Taking 3 of them and adding them to my card. with pop dots.
On the scalloped Square die I punched holes with my crop-a-dile tool and thread the twine in and out of the holes and then tying bow to finish the card. The stamp set I used is called "New Season, New Wonders" by {Ippity} Which I have in stock.

Good Day Friday!

Hello Everyone! It's finally Friday. It's very cool here today. I've been loving the cooler weather here in Illinois. After a long HOT July!! I know the electric Company is going to love getting my money.

I just LOVE the window's open. Letting the Fresh air come in. And to wake up listening to the Birds singing.

I wish I had a card to share with you today.... But it's been a hard week for me and my dh.

He got some bad news at work...So he has to be off work for 7 days without pay. Which is taking a big bite out of our saving and checking account. I've always heard the saying. Save money for a rainy day. I wished I had listened to that.

Today I am in better spirit. We are trusting God ever day through this time.

What would our world be, If we were all the same? I've thought about this from time to time. And I just don't think I could live like that.
I enjoy being me! Which is different. I don't follow today's Fashion tends. I thought about this when I made this card. Using one of our June Ippity Stamps:
Flowers + Friends = Priceless
I stamped the images 3 times onto the White Cardstock. with watercolor markers. I then added 3 more flower images that I colored and cut out added a touch of bling. Glued them on to the first 3 flower images. The middle card I made different from the other two as you can see. and I added the Peapod Twine from "the twinery
As you can see I also added my own touch to the card by doodling with a black zig black. My background card base is Maroon Cardstock, With Pink Cardstock and I used a Punch from Stampin' Up! to add to my card look. Just enough sweetness to finish the card.

So remember today that It's good to be different!!!

Shine shine shine: My own Thinking of you card. Using one stamp from the Shine shine shine stamp set. I stamped the image 3 times on Kraft Cardstock with Memento Noir ink. and colored the images with Watercolor pencils and Copic Markers. and added a little drawing of my own. Making lace dollies. I added Paper piecing to the lamp shades. And hand wrote Thinking of you.

on your Mark...Get ready go!! This card was made by using the new Stamp set called "Make your Mark" I used a blend of colors to create the background colors. and stamp from the set. The card base is Speckled Ivory Cardstock, The next layer is Bazzil Ivy CS, which was cut w/ deco scissors. and outlined with a black pen. Next I stamped the flower image with Copic Makers and Alcohol ink sprayed and then stamped onto paper.
I did color in some of the images. I layered it onto Orange Cs. then added it to the Ivy cs, I made a slit in the side of the card and feed the ribbon through and made a florist type bow. (Which is loops of ribbon and then tied together)

Back home...

Yes I'm back home after a long weekend. It started out on the wrong foot. One of our cat's decided he didn't want to go with us. So he got into one of the places, He knew we couldn't get to him very easy. Darn Cat! Sargent Pepper

But we with a little prayer and quick thinking we finally got him out. and then started down the road to my mil's house. We had a good weekend with her. Saturday Evening in her town. they had a pork chop dinner. To raise money for their fall festival. We enjoyed the evening listening to music and watching others get dunked in the dunk tank.

I know they were cooled off being dunked. It was a Hot Day! 97 degree with a little bit of wind blowing. I really enjoy going to see my mil. She has a lot of land. and a lot of wonderful flowers. Wild Animals and ton's of Birds. It's so peaceful there. One day I will be living there with my husband and mil The town I will be living in is called Meredosia, IL.
It's a little town of about 1300 people. And the Illinois River runs along the town. It once was called a River Town. Barge's floating down the river. It's always nice to see that.
Right now the river is up a little bit and there are places you can't go too. Like the boating dock. It's under water. and takes up most of the parking lot. But I enjoy this town. Many friendly people live here. Now getting ready to come back home. We had a bit of a late start. Cause the other cat Hoboski. Didn't want to go home. We looked every where for him. We finally found him, Hiding behind the dryer and into the wall of the bathroom behind the Tub. I tell you they find the darnedest place to hide!! Now we will have to fix that hole too. Last time he got under the shower. But we got him out and patch that hole too. Things you don't think about when you're an Adult. I guess from now on we need to think like a small child or animal. Hope your 4th was good too!

Watermelon anyone?

Well that's what I thought it was, when I made this tag. but it's not! It's an orange slice. So you can see I have fooled a lot of folks with this tag.

This tag was made for a bottle of wine. With an Invite on the back side. The Stamp set is a wonderful one. So many wonderful idea and scrapbook pages can be made using it.

I used America Craft Designer Paper, Real Red, Card stock, Twine from the Twinery.,
Real Red Dye ink, Green ink?, Buttons Green by Doodlebug and the red one was a found button.
To me the green and red button was fitting with this tag. And Ribbon that was found too. Create your own tag. and share it with us!

June is Birthday Month

In our Family we have a lot of June Birthdays. So far this week we have had 4. So I thought I would make a card.. in honor of them. I really like this one. It's fun and bright.

The stamp set I used is called "Party Hat Wishes"
And it's by {Ippity} By Unity Stamp Company.
I picked the color's from the Designer Paper. and went with it. I also made myself use from my Scrap Stash only. No Cutting into new paper. (oh but I wanted too!!) So I really don't remember what companies I used on this card. As far as paper goes. Sorry. I think you can wing it.
Ribbon the Ivory one is from Hobby Lobby and the other stuff I think is Making Memories. These were attached with Mini Glue dots. which works great!. Images are stamped with Memento Tux ink. (Black) & Certainly Celery by Stampin Up!. Coloring on the hat is done with Cheaper like Copic Markers. (I'm using them until they run out of ink. They are not refillable.) So then I added the hat with pop dot's. and also added the Flower (By Bazzil) and the button and Twine from The Twinery.

Hope everyone is having a good week. I'm looking forward to the Weekend. I'm going to one of my friends house Saturday Evening and stamp/scrap. We always have ton's of fun!!! It's good to together with them.

Just as promised. I sat down lastnight. and created 3 cards. Using our New "IPPITY" stamps.
The card above is New Season New Wonders which is a Fruit stamp set. I used White cs, as my card base. and Real Red C, some Dp from my stash of scraps. Ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Scalloped circle die by Spellbinder. White cs, I used the Circle Die by Spellbinder also. Stamped image with Versa Mark ink and poured red embossing powder over the image. Heat set it. popped the cherry up on pop dots. I also added Twine instead of ribbon.

My next card was made for my Niece who's birthday is this coming week. Good planning on my part. She loves girly things. and always has. She use to complain about having to wear jeans. She hated pants!! I can remember her playing outside in her Sunday dress, In the mud. What little girls think of. She's not little anymore. Kelli is a Big girl and has a girl of her. That does the same thing she did.

Anyway, I used Flowers + Friends = Priceless stamp set, Which is one of the New Stamp sets. Along with Party Hat's (happy birthday saying). My main card is made with Pink, Blue Bazzill Cs, Ivory Cs, and Designer Paper from My Minds eyes. Little Miss Muffet.

Which is really sweet paper! Each flower is from the stamp set Flower+Friends=Priceless. I stamped on different paper and cut them out. I added some Paper flowers attached them and added buttons with Twine ties on.

Now for my last card. It's super simple and may called CAS. or KIS DP is Little Miss Muffet by My Minds eyes I stamped the image with Memento Tux Black ink and then colored the image with my Copic Markers. coloring the center with Watercolor pencils in yellow. I attached the DP's together and then added the sheer ribbon. Also place the saying Happy Everything which is a Stamp set from Unity. And the Flower image is "My true joy"

Well I hope you like my creations. I'm very happy with the ones I've created. My Mojo is back!!

I thought I would share with you another card. I made using one of our New Stamp sets. This one is called "Flowers + Friends = Priceless. It's such a cool stamp set. How I made this one. I used my Copic Markers, and misted it with alcohol. and let it dry. (Must remember to clean the copic marker ink off stamps) Cause they stain. I started out with Real Red Cardstock base. Then added the White embossed background it's from DCWV.
Then used Spellbinder Dies and trim a little bit of the bottom long square. Red poka dot background. I added some twine and ribbon. If you look closely you will see that I added something clear to the middle of the flower. Right now I'm drawing a blank for what I used.
Any way I colored it with my Copic marker. This stamp set can be yours for a small price of $16.40 Shipping will be added.

First card: I was thinking what can I do with this stamp. Well I remembered that My Nephew just got promoted. And thought that this would make a cool card. For him.
I made my own folder. and then added some little things that you would find in a office setting.

Of course everyone has meetings to go to. And post it notes. How about Paper clips. Well that all here. "The Man" Dress shirt is here too. Along with two of the saying. "My Man" & "Stud"

All very fitting. No pun intended. The Second card is very simple. Short and to the point. We all like making things like this. Since Father's Day is coming up! Why not make you "MAN" Something special?

I'm keeping this short. Cause I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things. I just came back from a long weekend Vacation. And my mind is still there I think.

Well this might spark your interest in having a party or making some Party cards. Both of these cards were made with {IPPITY} stamps. This one is called Cuppy Cake.
I used Paper from two different Companies. Echo Park and Stampin up! Sending Love Specialty DP. I also used Twine
I also used Bazzil Cardstock, Real Red Cardstock, White Cardstock, from various companies.
There is a lot of cool things you can do with this Stamp set. Great for Birthday parties, Birthdays. How about making a Banner using this stamp. Birthday Name tags. You could even put them on a box. There are a lot of Bakers out there that could use these stamp set. Since there are two different cupcakes in this set.

I made this card for my second cousin who is in Track in High School. Her Team came in 7th in State. I'm totally excited about the win. So I made her this card. You Deserve & Devoted I love how it turned out.
My main card is made from Kraft Cardstock from PTI, Next Pattern Paper is Springtime Vintage from SU, Bazzill Dotted swiss. Newsprint from Echo Park "For the Record", and Ivory Cardstock from SU. The buttons are from Doodle bug, The twine is from the Twinery I used Memento ink Tux Black. and one copic Marker. Punches from Marvy and Spellbinder die.

Pushing your way through

Life is kinda like this plant pushing it's way into the world. I saw this over the weekend at my MIL house. And I just had to capture it on film. After a long winter. all the plants are starting to grow leaps and bounds. I have no idea if this little plant pushed up the cushion on the bench. To me it looks like it did.

This past weekend was Easter. We spent it with my MIL. Which I dearly Love! She is so sweet and full of Wisdom. And she's a GREAT cook!!

She is also a lot of fun to be with. I am lucky to have someone as nice as she is.

I wish everyone could have a mother in law like mine.
Then the world would be a happier place.

To me Family is important.
I have a wonderful family too.
Right now it's just my two sister's and myself. Our parents are gone.
My sister's families and I are tight.

Just as my dh family. He comes from a small family like mine
He has two younger siblings
A brother David and Sister Anna,

I thank God for my Family!!

Life can be Authentic

Life can be Authentic. It depends on how you live. I know I'm not one to follow the crowd.
My Mama always told me that I wasn't like everyone else. I was Authentic. Which I've always liked. I am me! I don't always follow the trends. Or design. I do my own thing. So I think this card show you just a little about me. It was hard for me to create this card. Why? Cause it's not something I would do. It's outside my comfort zone. Yes I like to color outside the lines.
I love a lot of things! But don't always act on those things. Hope that makes sense?

About my card. I saw a layout in a magazine. and I thought I should try it. I tweet it a bit.

I used Designer Paper from Cosmo Cricket *Circa 1934*, This paper is so deep in colors and design. Sometimes I don't even want to use it. (Cause it's one of my favorites) I picked out with the help of friend. (Lissette) These two color's. Garbo and Chaplin. Cut to fit the DP on the card base of Kraft Paper from PTI. Then stamped the image onto Kraft CS, with Aged Mahogany ink by Tim Holtz. Stamp I used is called Journey
I also inked the edges of the paper so it would have that look of Vintage. Which it does!.
I stamped the clock image onto Kraft paper with Black Memento ink. and poked a hole for the hands of the clock. then added a square brad to finish the look of the clock. and to finish it. I use a stamp from the Stamp set that {IPPITY} sells called AUTHENTIC

And that's my card!

Sweet Love

Two cards listed above are the newest cards, I've made in the last couple of weeks. First one was created for my MIL for her Birthday. She Loves Birds and Nature so this stamp image fit her well. I myself love using Kraft Paper for my cards. (Well not all of them). The background Designer Paper is from Stampin' Up! called Springtime Vintage. I used White cardstock and Kraft Paper. inverted corner punch. and a little ribbon. Stamped image with Memento Tux Black ink and colored the image with Copic Markers. The stamp image is from Unity it's one of their Itty Bitty Stamps

Now my second card I made the other night. I really love the softness of this card. Kraft Cardstock, Daisy D. Designer Paper. Distress ink by Tim Holtz, PP Designer Paper from SU, Rose & Flower.
Just a simple but very sweet look and feel to this card.

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile. I've backslid a little bit from Blogging. I haven't felt like doing anything. Not even stamping. But I think I'm out of that Slump! At least I hope so.

Yes I do mix a lot of different paper together.

Ribbon from Hobby Lobby Brown, I colored the bike with Copic Markers. Also used a punch on the bottom of the Dp. but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. (I borrowed it)

Ink used: Memento Tux Black ink. One of my favorite inks.

So I thought I would share with you two cards. I made using the same stamp set.

The stamp is from Unity, It's called Everlasting Romance Which is a Background stamp.

The card to the left here was made with Kraft Cardstock from PTI. Ivory Cardstock Stampin' Up!
Ink Real Red & Certainly Celery. Mixed by mistake. I use my Cuttlebug for the bottom of the card.
Ribbon from Hobby Lobby tied around card.

The Second card I used the same stamp. Everlasting Romance I used Real Red Cardstock from SU, White Cardstock from TAC. And Real Red Dye ink. Ribbon from American Crafts. Spellbinder Die and The saying is also a Unity stamp.

Real simple cards to make. And they turn out beautiful.

Both cards are 5x5 size.

Sad news

Today our Cousin Judy, Lost her Battle with Cancer. Judy was only 50 years young. A wonderful wife, Mother and Mother in-law. She is now resting in God's arms.
Judy as a Amazing person! So caring and giving.
Loved the Lord! and her family.

Keep our family in your prayers and thought this coming week.
Many family members will be traveling this week.
Pray for their safety too.

Prayer for my Cousin

Our Cousin Judy has Cancer and today we got bad news. The Cancer has spread into her lungs, liver. She going home from the Hospital Tomorrow.

We are leaving her in God's hands now. She will be healed her on Earth of in Heaven.

Judy is a Strong Christian women. Loves God and her family very much.

Judy's oldest Daughter is expecting their first Grandchild.

I know Judy would make a Super Wonderful Grandma.

Pray for Judy for peace, comfort. Ask for God healing power.

Keep the rest of the family in your prayers too.

A little birdie

A little birdie told me....It's Just about Christmas. And that I should make some Christmas cards.
Which as you can see I listened. Both of these cards I used one stamp It's called "Sing a New Song" This is becoming my favorite stamp so far. Cause you can do so much with it.
Like my first card I used. Glossy Accents on the bird. To give it a different look.

What I did was stamp the image with Silver encore ink. I let it dry. Then I placed into another piece of Card stock. Blashful Blue. Cut it out. Added the Glossy Accents. Set aside and let dry.

In the mean time, I cut my card base, Designer Paper by Echo Park Wintertime Ran that through my Cuttlebug with Swirl Embossing folder. I added the ribbon and snowflake button and then, I Attach this to the Blue Card base. and then pick out the style of Spellbinder Dies I wanted. Scalloped Square and Square dies. (White card stock) stamped some snowflake images on the white card stock and then mounted the Bird. I really love the way it turned out.

The second card I used the same stamp set. and the same DP. But this time I used the Frost DP for this card. And I used Bashful Blue Card stock as the base of my card. And I use Label 10 on the Frost DP, Oval Die on White card stock. As before I stamped the Bird image and cut him out. Paper Poked around the oval. Colored the Bird with Copic Markers. Very lightly.

I had some Ric Rac that really went well with the Dp so I used it. I also want to add some other type of ribbon. I didn't have any light blue ribbon so I took some white ribbon and one of my copic Markers and colored the ribbon. and to finish the card. In each corners top and bottom. I added a Corner brad and the word Sing.

Overall. I love both of these.

Christmas card idea

Every year I wait till the last minute to make my Christmas cards. I also make all of them different.

My first card I made. Using Echo Park Wintertime Designer Paper. And I cut out shapes of Trees. attached them to the Kraft Card stock. With a Paper poker I poked holes in the CS. and took a Silver marker and ran it across the holes.
For that extra touch I added some Tooling, A pearl straight pin, Ice Crystal Stickle, Flat Brads, and Crystal blue star.

Super simple to make and will be cherish throughout the holidays.

I've got the Blues

Yes I have the blues. But the not the same thing you were thinking about. I'm so into the color blue. These days. And I've been looking at layouts too. This one didn't really turn out the way I wanted. But I am happy with it.

As you can see here I used a couple of different different Pattern papers. (using up my paper stash) Ribbon and a button.
I also used my cuttlebug embossing folder swirls. and punch to create the border.

Coloring was done using Copic Markers

I cased this layout. I do think it could have come out better for me that it did. But still it looks really good.

Stamp set I used is called Sunflowers
I also used Ric rak ribbon and soft blue gingham ribbon, a clear button that I colored with my Copic Marker. to change the color.

I also use my Cuttlebug and Spellbinder dies to create the scalloped circle and other circles.

and I added Happy Birthday to the card.

I really enjoyed making both of these cards. I hope to have more in the coming days to share with you.

Well I'm out of Jail....

Yes I went to Jail this past weekend. That's why I haven't been around much. I only had to serve 3 days. And not even 3 full days. And they finally let me out on Sunday. I don't have to serve again until April of 2011.

Really I went to Jail in a Bed and Breakfast place...It's called The Slammer: http://theslammer.net

There were 26 of us. Stamping and Scrapping out weekend away without children or those lovely Husbands of ours.

This place was really a Jail/Court House. The new owners turned it into a Bed & Breakfast place.

Which is really neat. You can eat inside a jail cell. Or go to the Padded room. Check it out sometime. http://theslammer.net

I also used Spellbinder Dies in Oval Scalloped, Oval, and Rectangles. I also used my Pro Glue Tape gun to attach everything. My coloring was done with my Copic Markers.

Beautiful Places.

dh and I took our Vacation in Upper WI back in May 2010.

I thought I would share some of our photo's with you all.

We both love camping, and siteseeing. And waterfalls.

Which we found ton's of them. We stayed in Copper Falls State Park. We had the whole place to ourselves for a couple of days.

We enjoyed the wild life that we saw. Deers and Bear.

In Copper Falls State Park there is a Beautiful Lake called Loon Lake.

Personally I didn't see any Loons, but my dh did.

However I did see lot's of turtles.

Happy Valentines day to you. I've been wanting to put these up for a couple of days now. But today I found some time. We have snow. but we're not snowed in. But today I thought I would stay inside and enjoy my Birthday inside for awhile today. Since I'm going out this evening with friends.

Both of these cards are larger than the ones I usually make. Top one is 5x5 and the one below is 6x6. I need to make some envelopes.

All products except the ribbon and punch is from The Angel Company. I've been pulling my hair out trying to think of the name of this Stamp set. I really LOVE it! As you can see it makes wonderful cards. and the ideas are endless.

I'm starting fresh today. and I am hoping to keep up on my blogs they way I should. Enjoy your day and weekend.

Christmas Joy

I just love making fun and easy cards. This one was super easy. I took Paper from SEI and Punched circles. Sponged the edges with Blue ink. Then placed them on the card. Then cut the end ones to fit. Then I used a punch using Red Card stock and White Card stock. And a Brad. Place this on the card.

Then to finish the card. I stamped "Christmas Joy" in Palette Noir ink.

I hope you like it.

Yes Shame on me. I've been slacking in stamping for the last month or so. I've been bitten by the Slump Bug.

Mostly cause my stamping stuff is not where it usually is. In my stamping room, It's all over the house.

My fault. I've been lazy and haven't picked it up. I really need to do something soon, Cause I'm afraid if I don't I'll loose all interest altogether. And I do need to get my Christmas cards done.

Maybe next Saturday I'll get my butt in gear. I'll be at a all day crop. So I'm hoping I will get these done.

Yes we are in Salina Kansas, I also stopped by The Angel Company to say Hello. Most of the people were at lunch or on vacation, I did get to met Shannon on the Customer Service ladies. She is one that answers the phones and answers our questions, What a wonderful Lady.

I wish I had gotten a chance to meet Michele Smith. But she was out for the day. Salina is a very nice town, Filled with lots of wonderful places to shop and eat.

I wish I had more time here, But we are leaving in the morning to head to Colorado Spring.

I was going to take a photo of the company, But I forgot my camera.

Where has the time gone? I'm wondering that myself. Well as you can see I've been up to creating again, These are part of a Silence Auction that will be going on later this month.

Dh & I belong to The Bigfoot International Owners Club BOCI and we have a RALLY every year.
I always make something for the Auction. Last year, Everyone ask to make more than one thing. So this year I've been creating up a storm. This is just one of the little items I will have.

I've added a Purse filled with Cards, A wine Box filled with Wine goodies and Cards. and two more little items to be put in a Basket of misc goodies.

I thought I would share with you these that I've made using a reitred TAC stamp set.

These are little Tags, to use how every they wish. The box was one that I purchased and then covered with DP, and added ribbon.

I finally am sharing with you just 2 cards. Cause I forgot to take pictures of the other creations I've made. Oops!
Both cards are made with Level A Hostess Stamp set from The Angel Company. Their are 2 stamp images in the set. As you can see here. The Bears and Saying.

It's called "Oceans of Love" Which I LOVE! It's easy and fun to color. and makes darn cute card. And It would look really great in your scrapbooks too.
The Designer Paper I used it Retired from Last year. But it went really well with this cardstock from TAC, I just had to use it.

Another Darling card I made using the same Stamp set. "Oceans of Love" Level A Hostess set. And Saying from a Retired Stamp set.

I saw in a magazine somewhere...I think Scrap and Stamp.? Where someone used their Bind it all to create the holes in their paper to create their card. I changed mine around a little bit. So it would be just a little different than theirs.

I punched the holes and then took the Ribbon and tape the ends on the other side of the paper. Then went to the other end and tape those ends. Got everything all laided out the way I wanted it. and then put it togehter. And to finish the look I took 3 pieces of Ribbon and tied them in the center of the other ribbons. to create a cool look.

The Designer Paper is from Hobby Lobby.. It worked great with this stamp set. Cause it's playful looking. And in great color's too.

Well as you can see, I haven't posted any photo's. I know I'm bad!.

I did make a lot of cards at my all day Crop. But I didn't bring some of them home with me. and dh was off for two days...So no computer for me for those two days.

Tonight I'm going back to Bridgette's house for some more Scrapping and Card making fun.

This evening is pot luck night. And I'm bring Watergate Salad. It's easy and or so good to eat.

I promise to share my creations with you.

All Day Crop

Tomorrow I am going to an All Day Crop at my friends house. This will be my 5th that I've gone too in the last 2 1/2 years.

We all bring our Stamping and Scrapping stuff. The Crop starts at 9 am, and goes until 9 pm.
Bridgette has many many cool games for us to play. Like Bingo. Fill your Bingo card. and win prizes.

Example: Make a card or scrapbook page using Red and Pink, When you make something, Then you mark off that square. Red & Pink,

Next one. Use Black Ribbon somewhere on your page. So if you do this, Then you can X the square that you'ved use Black Ribbon. So now you have two squares filled.

We always have fun at her house. She has a large basement. With lot's of Tables, Outlets for your Cricut's. Heat gun's. Plus she has ton's of Stamps and tools that we can use.

We all bring our own stuff to work on. And we also have a Garage Sale. Which I bring stuff to sell each year.

I also Bring some of my TAC catalogs, and Share my stamps and paper with everyone. This way that can see just what the stamp set's look like and they usually want to purchase something from me.

Bridgette told me to bring my TAC catalog with me this Saturday. So that's what I'm going to do.

The All day Crop only happens once every 5 to 6 months. But we have a Montly get to together.
And sometimes Twice a month. And that is usually on Friday night. from 6 pm to 10 pm.

I'm really glad that I found this group! The ladies are Awesome and just plain down to earth and fun to be with.

Bridgette lives about 38 miles one way from me. So it's a trek for me. But I LOVE getting with my friends and having fun.

I'll be showing some of my creations on Sunday or Monday afternoon. So make sure you stop back by to see what I created over the weekend. I wish that I had something to show you today.

But I don't. I just got my order from TAC aka The Angel Company on Thursday and I sat down last night and cut them out. SO I will be ready to stamp on Saturday. Today I will be getting all of my stuff together that I want to take with me. I'm really looking forward to going!

I will also be picking up my friend Lissette in the morning. Lissette I met back in April of this year. and we have hit it off. Lissette I found on SCS. And we decieded we needed to meet. I'm sure glad we did! She's a Wonderful person. She's about 5 miles from me.

Yes! I'm still here. I just got home on Sunday evening, And things have been in Full Throttle for me. Busy unpacking. Cleaning up the house. Getting food for the boyz. (Sarge & Hobo)

Doing things with my friend Brenda. Just getting things under control....Well at least I thought I was until lastnight.

I came home to a dear Husband complaining about his bug bites. That he got while cutting down a Tree in mom's backyard. Not really knowing what bit him... I went to the internet to look for photo's to see if I could find out what they might be.

Well I did. He has tiny Sand Flies Bites all over his arms and chest. Poor baby!

So now we know what to do for him. And off to the store I went. Finally giving him the relief he much needed!!!

I sure hope he comes home in a better mood today. Please say a little prayer for him.

Also I hope that sometime next week, I'll have some TAC cards to share with you.

Take me to your leader is the first thing, I thought when I recieved my New Sneak Peak Stamp set from The Angel Company. It's Called "Robot" and it's darn cute.

I'm so excited about it. Wondering what's inside the this new catalog. Are there any new Guy stamps, paper, embellishements.

I really would love to see more guy related items in our catalog. It gets harder to create for those of us that have guys in our family.

I have seen some of the Sneak Previews of some of the stamps and their are some I really love and some that I can pass on. But I know that will change once I've seen them on a card or scrapbook page. This always get's me.

Gift cards.

You know we all need this from time to time. I made this little 3x3 Gift card. And this one is for a Birthday. It was simple and very easy to make.

I took some Birch Cardstock from TAC, and cut it 3 x 6 and then folded it over to make a small card.
Then I took some already embossed Pink Bazzill Cardstock. ( well I ran it through my Cuttlebug first.)
Cut it just a little smaller than the card. and attached it. I then use some Brown Bazzill cardstock and my square scalloped punch. and then I added these cute little Mini Brads to each corner. I then took my Palette noir and stamped the image (Little cupcake R-2038 Set of 11 stamps for $18.95 )

stamps. $18.95) and then colored the image with Copic Markers. to finish the look I added just a touch of Versa Magic Chalk ink around the edging. Finally finished by attaching it to the card.

It alway's amazes me how we can take some ink, CS, and some stamps. And we all come up with different ideas, on what to make.

So remember next time you need a Gift card. Don't go out and buy one. Make one instead.

Everyone will know you put your heart and soul into their gift!

Flowers for all Seasons........

Flowers for all Seasons, Whether they be Real, fake or Stamped. They sure look pretty anytime of the year. Like this Cupcake card I made using a Paper Flower, it looks good on top of this Cupcake. (Sizzix Die Cut Retired).
I used a Big Shot Machine to cut out the Frosting part. Using Designer Paper from The Angel Company Rustic Chic And the bottom part of the Cupcake is Ivory Card stock. Which I then used some Burnt Umber Palette Ink. to fill in the areas of the Paper cupcake holder. And then I took some of the White Card stock Strips and used the Burnt Umber ink again to match the cupcake. I then took and cut 2 pieces of CS out and then notched the corners with a Hole Punch,
Then mounted everything all together. and then added some Mini Square Brads to finish the card.
Just think about those lovely Pink Tulips that grow in your yard. I picture this when I started coloring the flowers. The Stamp set is now Retired from TAC, It was from the April Special. I fell in love with it! and I had to have it. I think you all can see just why. It's darn Pretty.
I used my Copic Markers to color the tulips and then I added just enough shading on the vase to make the Black line design to show up. Simple to make. Cut 2 Squares 1 being a little bigger than the other. Add some Brad. and some Ribbon. Of course your choice of color.

I went with Pink and Black.

Another Fun flower,,Which is from that same Stamp set that was available last month,. Again I used my Copic Markers to color and then blend with the Copic Blender pen. the shades that I wanted. Image is stamped on White Cs, and inked with Palette Noir ink, the background piece of Paper was a Scrap that I had. And it worked well with the coloring. I added some Ribbon and then stamped Happy Birthday to finish the card.

So see having flowers all season long can bring some cheer to someone life. And now you know it doesn't have to be Real. It can be a stamped image on a card.

Sunny Days.....

I've been thinking of Sunny Days. And today I did get to see the sun again for a little while today.

And this card reminds me of those days, I spent as a Young person. Going to the Beach with my friends.
Building sand castles and being buried in the sand. Fun in the Sun T2936 & GWP TG2973.

Was used to make this card. The Designer Paper is Mia's Cottage Designer Paper R2503 and Bazzill cardstock, White Cardstock, Palette noir ink. Prismacolor H20 pencils.
Foam mounting tape from 3M, Double stick tape, Scissors, and a Punch.
