I'm still here....

Yes! I'm still here. I just got home on Sunday evening, And things have been in Full Throttle for me. Busy unpacking. Cleaning up the house. Getting food for the boyz. (Sarge & Hobo)

Doing things with my friend Brenda. Just getting things under control....Well at least I thought I was until lastnight.

I came home to a dear Husband complaining about his bug bites. That he got while cutting down a Tree in mom's backyard. Not really knowing what bit him... I went to the internet to look for photo's to see if I could find out what they might be.

Well I did. He has tiny Sand Flies Bites all over his arms and chest. Poor baby!

So now we know what to do for him. And off to the store I went. Finally giving him the relief he much needed!!!

I sure hope he comes home in a better mood today. Please say a little prayer for him.


Also I hope that sometime next week, I'll have some TAC cards to share with you.

I'm so excited about it. Wondering what's inside the this new catalog. Are there any new Guy stamps, paper, embellishements.

I really would love to see more guy related items in our catalog. It gets harder to create for those of us that have guys in our family.

I have seen some of the Sneak Previews of some of the stamps and their are some I really love and some that I can pass on. But I know that will change once I've seen them on a card or scrapbook page. This always get's me.

Gift cards.

You know we all need this from time to time. I made this little 3x3 Gift card. And this one is for a Birthday. It was simple and very easy to make.

I took some Birch Cardstock from TAC, and cut it 3 x 6 and then folded it over to make a small card.
Then I took some already embossed Pink Bazzill Cardstock. ( well I ran it through my Cuttlebug first.)
Cut it just a little smaller than the card. and attached it. I then use some Brown Bazzill cardstock and my square scalloped punch. and then I added these cute little Mini Brads to each corner. I then took my Palette noir and stamped the image (Little cupcake R-2038 Set of 11 stamps for $18.95 )


stamps. $18.95) and then colored the image with Copic Markers. to finish the look I added just a touch of Versa Magic Chalk ink around the edging. Finally finished by attaching it to the card.

It alway's amazes me how we can take some ink, CS, and some stamps. And we all come up with different ideas, on what to make.

So remember next time you need a Gift card. Don't go out and buy one. Make one instead.

Flowers for all Seasons........

Flowers for all Seasons, Whether they be Real, fake or Stamped. They sure look pretty anytime of the year. Like this Cupcake card I made using a Paper Flower, it looks good on top of this Cupcake. (Sizzix Die Cut Retired).
I used a Big Shot Machine to cut out the Frosting part. Using Designer Paper from The Angel Company Rustic Chic And the bottom part of the Cupcake is Ivory Card stock. Which I then used some Burnt Umber Palette Ink. to fill in the areas of the Paper cupcake holder. And then I took some of the White Card stock Strips and used the Burnt Umber ink again to match the cupcake. I then took and cut 2 pieces of CS out and then notched the corners with a Hole Punch,
Then mounted everything all together. and then added some Mini Square Brads to finish the card.
Just think about those lovely Pink Tulips that grow in your yard. I picture this when I started coloring the flowers. The Stamp set is now Retired from TAC, It was from the April Special. I fell in love with it! and I had to have it. I think you all can see just why. It's darn Pretty.
I used my Copic Markers to color the tulips and then I added just enough shading on the vase to make the Black line design to show up. Simple to make. Cut 2 Squares 1 being a little bigger than the other. Add some Brad. and some Ribbon. Of course your choice of color.

I went with Pink and Black.


Another Fun flower,,Which is from that same Stamp set that was available last month,. Again I used my Copic Markers to color and then blend with the Copic Blender pen. the shades that I wanted. Image is stamped on White Cs, and inked with Palette Noir ink, the background piece of Paper was a Scrap that I had. And it worked well with the coloring. I added some Ribbon and then stamped Happy Birthday to finish the card.

So see having flowers all season long can bring some cheer to someone life. And now you know it doesn't have to be Real. It can be a stamped image on a card.

Sunny Days.....

I've been thinking of Sunny Days. And today I did get to see the sun again for a little while today.

And this card reminds me of those days, I spent as a Young person. Going to the Beach with my friends.
Building sand castles and being buried in the sand. Fun in the Sun T2936 & GWP TG2973.

Was used to make this card. The Designer Paper is Mia's Cottage Designer Paper R2503 and Bazzill cardstock, White Cardstock, Palette noir ink. Prismacolor H20 pencils.
Foam mounting tape from 3M, Double stick tape, Scissors, and a Punch.

Sunny Flowers for a Sunny Day

Today the Sun is out and it's sunny very bright.

So I thought I would share with you a couple of Sunny Floral Cards. These I made at my Meet up group. Last Friday night.

The Stamp set I used is Flower And Holly A Wonderful stamp set from The Angel Company.
I used for to make this card. Bazzill Cardstock in Oranges, Navy Blue Cardstock, White Cardstock, Basic Grey Designer Paper, Paper Pircer, Ribbons, (varies places) Word Window Punch. Stamped image with Palette Noir ink Colored with Copic Markers.

Here is another card I made using the same layout as above. It's not excatly like it..but it close. This was the first card I made. Red's Bazzill Cardstock, White Cardstock, DP Scrap. Ivy Bazzill Cardstock, Zig Zag Scrissors, Ribbon, (Hobby Lobby) Word window punch.

This Stamp set is called Gerbera Daisy . I really like using these bigger floral stamps. They just look so Pretty!!

Clear & Simple stamps ATC Swap!


Boy did I have fun doing these, I really never understood why? Someone would want to make these. But I really like making them. They are super easy and fun to make.


The photo at the top is all of the ATC's that were swapped.



This one is mine. See I told you it was easy. I used the Stamp set called I do Darling. Isn't she cute? I took a regular Sponge and inked it with Palette ink Purple color. (forgot the real name..oops!) Stamped the image with Palette Noir ink, color the image with Copic Markers. and then added the "Bridal Shower" saying mounted it onto 3M foam tape.

Awesome Saturday Fun!!!
Saturday from 10 am to 10pm, I spend making cards, laughing and giggling with my girlfriends.
About a little over a year ago, I joined a Meet-up group in Dekalb Il. (36 miles from my house)
We get together about once a month, and sometimes more. And I've made some wonderful friends through this group!.

So Saturday was our all day Crop. Where we do a Bingo Card. Each Square has a idea on it. and in the middle of the Bingo card there is a "N" which is a Free spot. So after you have made something from the idea on a square you call our Krafty Kitty. and when you fill up your Bingo card You Yell "Bingo!" and you'll get some tickets. to put into a Grab Bag for a bigger prize later on.

So some of the card you see here, Are from some of the idea on the Bingo Card. The top (Black and White) was to fill in the square for Black & White Poka dot card or page.

Birthday Wishes was for a Birthday Theme. I used some Scrap paper that was given to be by the Hostess of our get together. Bridgette. And I used Bazzill Cs, along with some Ribbon, White Cs, Stamp image from The Angel Company stamp set called "Little Cupcake" I use my copic markers to color the image.


The design here (Cows) I used as my Distress Card. And I call this card Distressed Cows. The Designer paper really looked like Cow hide. So this why I used it. I also added some Bazzill CS, green and cut the strip of paper to make like grass. Coloring was done with Copic markers... Now the funny thing is with this card. The card base opens totally wrong...Why, Cause I goofed and made the card opening upside down. ..

I guess that's what I get for talking to much while I should have been looking at what I was doing....Oh Well! It's a easy fix.



Friends, Giggling, chatting and just having fun!
I needed to make something with Friends theme. And I chose this idea. The Dp is from Target Dollar spot. Which works prefectly with this theme. I used a Retired Vintage TAC stamp called "S.W.A.K. and colored the images with my Copic Markers. (did I tell you "I LOVE" my copic markers???.....Well I do!!!!!!!




And this cute little guy I used as my Easter Theme. The stamp is from Victoria Case. Art stamps. Again I use my copic Markers to color him and added some egg punchs around his feet.

I have some more cards that I made, but I can't share them until they have been watermarked my the company.

My total Cards and tags for the day was 12, Not many you might think...But when you are coloring and trying to think of a layout. it takes time...Plus laughing and talking back and forth to each other....kinda slows down the process a little. But I really had a Super Day!!!!

I've been in a Creating mood again.

Well as you can see, I've been in a Creating mood again.

I just LOVE make cards and share them with my friends and Family.

Today I am sharing with you all. And who knows. Maybe one of you will recieve one of these cards....Via Mail.

The firs card on the left. I made with using Stampin' Up! products and stamps. Copic Markes. and Ribbon pieces.
I borrow this adorable stamp set from my friend Bridgette. and stamped a few images onto some White Cardstock. and then bought them home. I pulled them out the other day. and decided to create something with the image.

And to continue with my creations. Another Stamped image, But I recieved this one from the WRAK group on
SCS.
And I have only a few left of these images. I colored this image with Copic Markers, Clear Gel Pen, White Gel pen, and then used a Gray Copic Marker to outline the flower for more depth.
The Cardstock is Bazzill Cardstock and White Cardstock from The Angel Company, Plus some Designer Paper from (I want to say New kid on the block...But I know that's not it. but it does have Block in the name..)

I think it turned out pretty.

Here's another Stamped set I borrowed from Bridgette while I was at her house for a Stamp and Scrapbook get together.

This is a Retired Stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Camp out!. and Lovely as a Tree. still current.

I colored the images with copic markers, Cut out the girl & boy image and the fire imges and place them on the card where I wanted them.

I added the blue sky and the brown dirt. This card is Bazzill Cardstock With White Cardstock.

Yellow Bazzill Cardstock, Green Bazzill Cardstock and White Cardstock was used to make this card. The stamp I have no idea what the name of it is. But I think it's sweet.

Again I colored my image with Copic Markers. Stamped the background (Yellow) cardstock with versa Mark watermark ink.

It's a CAS card.

Now for a Bright and Cheerful looking card.

Very easy to make. Yellow Bazzill Cardstock, DP is DCWV Paper stack pack. The ribbon is Orange Sheer, (I have no idea where it's from)

Scalloped Circle, round circle punches by Marvy.

Images. Orange Flower is Bellas Bloom Stampin' Up! stamp set. I used my Tombow Markers to color the flower images and stamped them 3 times.

Mounted the Scalloped Circle onto 3M foam mounting tape. And then added the Just Because stamp GWP from The Angel Company with Palette Noir ink and then cut a piece of Orange Cardstock to match everything else.

Now this one was for a Challenge on SCS. For Blogging Bloggers group #7

The theme color's are Greens and Blues and it had to be valentines also.

The only thing that is not from The Angel Company is the Green Checked paper.
